ABOUT US

FOUR GENERATIONS OF PRIDE

Here at CKC, we are proud to be part of the Uintah Basin.  We have been serving the Basin for four generations, and hope to do so for many years to come.

Our grandfather, Sam Burdick has been a huge influence on our business and how we run CKC.  He was a great example of hard work and, honestly, has taught us how to treat people.  Our father and uncles have also been very influential in our business.

Sam Burdick started in this industry in 1963.  He was a foreman for Schmidt, a large road construction company out of Denver, building many of the large highways throughout Colorado. He was the General Superintendent over 170 jobs and won State awards for sections of I-70 and for the dam in Aspen, CO.  He then started his own road construction company here, in the Basin, in 1975.

It was the exact same type of road construction that we, at CKC, do today.  My dad and three uncles still give us advice and we are very grateful for their input.  Grandpa passed away four years ago but he helped to direct us and guide us until the day he died and we believe that he still helps us today.

Four Generations of Pride

We are a family-owned and women-owned business.

We involve our children when we can.  Our son Cash works regularly for the business. He is the 4th Generation of Pride!  We feel it is important to teach our children the importance of working hard and for a greater cause.
