PROPOSITION 39 ENERGY UPGRADE

As part of this project, we created a database which established an inventory of all exterior lighting inclusive of building exteriors, pathways, parking lots and roadways which totaled over 1,000 luminaires. In doing so we established a baseline of energy use and selected replacement luminaires equipped with motion sensing capability so loads could be reduced in areas that are vacant, which furthered energy savings. With this information in place, we were able to provide bid documents. The project was successfully Bid and awarded with construction finishing by July 1^st.
