San Joaquin Community College – Major Renovation

MAJOR RENOVATION – GOLEMAN LIBRARY

Stockton, CA

Peters worked on this major renovation project of 54,000 square feet, including mechanical engineering for the design of mechanical and plumbing system design.  All work was coordinated with the Project Manager, Library Building Consultant, and Technology Consultant used by the Owner.

Systems included in the evaluation for appropriate application to this project included DX cooling, four pipe fan coils, and indirect/direct evaporative cooling. Features of the building lending to higher energy efficiencies included economizers for the fan coils; high efficiency glazing for all new glazing; increased building insulation; daylighting; high efficiency motors and equipment.
