CAMPUS SITE LIGHTING REPLACEMENT

In determining the best light source in terms of economical, aesthetical and functional purposes, the LED source stood out as the viable light source in all three of the categories. An added challenge was to integrate RF controls into the specified light sources that were in the beginning stage of planning and is to be the campus-wide means of lighting controls. An additional level of control for pedestrian areas included occupancy sensors to actuate reduction of lumen output when areas are vacant, thus achieving additional energy savings.
